Hardware Implementation of Composite Control Strategy for Wind-PV-Battery Hybrid Off-Grid Power Generation System

In this paper, a composite control strategy for improved off-grid configuration based on photovoltaic (PV array), wind turbine (WT), and diesel engine (DE) generator to achieve high performance while supplying nonlinear loads is investigated. To operate the WT efficiently under variable speed conditions obtain accurate fast convergence maximum global operating point without sensor, an iterative interpolation method integrated with perturbation observation (P&O) technique. ensure balance of power in system from PV array using any tracking (MPPT) method, ensuring stable operation during disturbance, double-loop two-switches buck-boost converter developed. Furthermore, protect synchronous (DG) 5th 7th order-harmonics created by connected solve issue filter resonance, interfacing three-phase inverter controlled synchronous-reference frame algorithm (SRF) virtual impedance active damping. The presented work demonstrates effective efficient along cost-effective option as compared similar works reported literature. its developed are tested MATLAB/Simulink validated through small-scale hardware prototyping.
